Gaspar Noé directed the latest Sebastian video: great news! Bad news : it was directed by Gaspar Noé. How disturbing is this video? Surely, if you've seen Irreversible, you know the type of movies Noé makes but this seems to shake my values more then anything he's done. As promised, we've got a double dose of Throwback Thursday this week! For our first track, we're taking you way back to 1977 with Mannequin by Wire from their "Pink Flag" debut album. These guys were definitely ahead of their time.

Nice little remix by The Hood Internet for Haroula Rose's Lavender Moon, a track originally from her "These Open Roads" EP. The Hood Internet are mostly known for their mashups but they actually managed to produce a perfectly fitting remix, giving the track a more pop/dance edge while still maintaining the integrity of the original.
I remember listening to the world premiere of this track on the Annie Mac show last friday, saying to myself that I'll post it when it'll be available. Well here it is, albeit a couple of days late, Sub Focus' latest single Out The Blue featuring Alice Gold. The track has been met with a lot of positive feedback, already racking up over 140 000 listens in two days. Alice Gold's voice makes this track to be honest. The song will be officially released on April 29th.
Listen to this dope remix of M.I.A.'s Bad Girls by american producer Monolith. Its got badass organ sounds and filled with over the top synths that make this track even better at the third or fourth listen.
When Waka Flocka Flame isn't knocking people out in arcades, he makes music. Check out his latest music video for his track Round Of Applause which also features Drake. The toronto rapper actually busted out his degrassi acting skills for this one, playing a crime boss.
Talk about a tremendous idea and project. Dan Barasch and James Ramsey want to transform the "Delancey Underground", a trolley terminal located in Manhattan's LES, that's been out of use since 1948 into the world's first underground park. From what I understand, they're going to use a new technology which would capture sunlight from the outside, channel that light through a fiber optic cable which would then "release" that light underground. This would allow for photosynthesis, which means that plants and trees would be able to grow and live. The idea has received a lot of praise and you can help them out.
They need 100,000$ to build a mini version of "LowLine Park" to demonstrate that this can actually work. And after a week on kickstarter they've already accumulated 64,000$ with 38 days to go.

The "Au Vieux Panier" hotel located in Marseille, France commissioned french graffiti artist Tilt to paint one of their rooms. The hotel has five rooms which are redesigned by artists and graphic designers each year. This room is fittingly entitled "Panic Room". You can see a sneak peek of the five rooms here. This is incredibly dope and I'd be interested in knowing the price of a night in this ludicrous room.
Wes Anderson did a couple of commercials for the new 2012 Hyundai Azera. They're good, I actually enjoyed watching these ads. Will I ever buy a 2012 Hyundai Azera? No.

There's always an excuse to listen to Avicii's next-level catchy track Levels. George Monev had the extremely simple idea of reversing the strings in Levels. Turns out this remix is the best of them all, without a doubt. It stays true to the song while still giving the listener something new.
When I first read the title of this mixtape it made me chuckle. But this is a dope mixtape concept by Jonathan Lee. It's pretty good, sure there's some transition issues here and there but Lee doesn't just overlap one track over the other, he transitions parts from The Boss to The Bawse so they complement each other.
Here's an interesting videos for cinephiles by Stefania Rota. It's an installation of 21 meters long showing a walk through of the history of cinema from 1903 to 2009. It's pretty fuckin' cool.
