[Photo of the Day] 'The End. Kiribati Is Gone' by Ciril Jazbec

Kiribati is a small island not far from Australia where the climate changes have been affecting the ecosystem more then a lot of civilized places. This  great series by Ciril Jazbec exposed these changes and the way it affects the people from this island. More on his website

[Music Video] Mint Julep - To The Sea

I just discovered the pretty  gentle music of Mint Julep and their newest video for their track 'To The Sea'! The kinda flickering effect in the video is amazingly well done! Their album 'Save Your Season' is available here! Check it out!

Listen to Arcade Fire's contribution to The Hunger Games' soundtrack. The movie will hit theaters on March 23rd 2012.

[Mixtape] STS - GOLDRUSH

Listen to "GOLDRUSH", the mixtape by STS (Sugar Slim Tongue). The rapper flips beats from Top 40 songs, going anywhere from Lady Gaga to Foster the People and passing by Rick Ross.

He even made a video for every track from the mixtape.

[Music Video] DJ Muggs - Snap Ya Neck Back feat. Dizzee Rascal & Bambu

After the surprise collaboration between Rusko and Cypress Hill, Dj Muggs teamed up with Dizzee Rascal & Bambu to make this terribly dope banging track! Hip-hop and dubstep were meant to be together it seems!

[Tech] Touch Sensitive Question Block Lamp

Who wouldn't want this? It even makes the sound when you touch it as shown in the video below! I'm going all Fry on that shit. It's available here!

[Music Video] Santigold - Disparate Youth

Here's the visuals for Santigold's excellent new single 'Disparate Youth'! Pretty cool jungle stuff!  Her new album 'Master Of My Make Believe' will be available in April!

[Music Video] Sebastian - Love In Motion (NSFW)

Gaspar Noé directed the latest Sebastian video: great news! Bad news : it was directed by Gaspar Noé. How disturbing is this video? Surely, if you've seen Irreversible, you know the type of movies Noé makes but this seems to shake my values more then anything he's done. Check it out but probably not at work if you value your reputation.

[Music Video] Grimes - Oblivion

We're big fans of Grimes here so we're happy to see that she didn't screw up with her first video : it's pretty good! Remember that the album 'Visions' is available to stream here!

Untitled photograph by Dave Bevan during his hitch-hiking trip across North America. The boss man was encountered in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada.

[Other] Banksy's Rant On Advertising

Banksy gives his two cents on advertising in an open letter/rant. If you've seen a single Banksy piece in your life, you can take an educated guess on his stance.

[Throwback Thursday] Wire - Mannequin

As promised, we've got a double dose of Throwback Thursday this week! For our first track, we're taking you way back to 1977 with Mannequin by Wire from their "Pink Flag" debut album. These guys were definitely ahead of their time.

The second track is a classic electro track that paved the way to what has become EDM today. It's Mr.Oizo's 1999 hit single "Flat Beat".

[Tech] Antichamber Teaser

The indie game industrie has been booming in the latest year generating fantastic games such as Limbo, The Path, Machinarium and many others. Looking at this teaser, Antichamber will most likely be a name to remember put on that list. Coming to PC / Mac in 2012.

"Antichamber is a game about discovery, set inside a vibrant, minimal, Escher-like world, where geometry and space follow unfamiliar rules, and obstacles are a matter of perception."
- Antichamber's website.

[Video] The Story of Sushi

There's probably no better way to pass a message then to make an original video like this. All these miniatures were handcrafted  by Lori Nix and the photography and direction were made by Vincent Peone and are both perfect!  By the end of it, I almost forgot it was actually a commercial for Bamboo Sushi. Narration by Jim Donaldson. Check it out!

[Music] Lana Del Rey - Blue Jeans (Moonlight Matters Remix)

So Moonlight Matters was able to turn the very moody 'Blue Jeans' by Lana Del Rey into an 80-ish awesome dance remix! Check it out!

[Music Video] Mouse on Mars - Polaroyced

Here's the visuals to the contagious sound of Mouse on Mars 'Polaroyced'! The clip is (literally) GOLD!

[Photo of the Day] Taylor (Rushing River) - Ryan McGinley

[Music] Haroula Rose - Lavender Moon ( The Hood Internet Remix)

Nice little remix by The Hood Internet for Haroula Rose's Lavender Moon, a track originally from her "These Open Roads" EP. The Hood Internet are mostly known for their mashups but they actually managed to produce a perfectly fitting remix, giving the track a more pop/dance edge while still maintaining the integrity of the original.

[Music] Sub Focus - Out The Blue

I remember listening to the world premiere of this track on the Annie Mac show last friday, saying to myself that I'll post it when it'll be available. Well here it is, albeit a couple of days late, Sub Focus' latest single Out The Blue featuring Alice Gold. The track has been met with a lot of positive feedback, already racking up over 140 000 listens in two days. Alice Gold's voice makes this track to be honest. The song will be officially released on April 29th.

[Music] M.I.A. - Bad Girls (Monolith Remix)

Listen to this dope remix of M.I.A.'s Bad Girls by american producer Monolith. Its got badass organ sounds and filled with over the top synths that make this track even better at the third or fourth listen.

[Music Video] Waka Flocka Flame ft. Drake - Round Of Applause

When Waka Flocka Flame isn't knocking people out in arcades, he makes music. Check out his latest music video for his track Round Of Applause which also features Drake. The toronto rapper actually busted out his degrassi acting skills for this one, playing a crime boss.

[Music] ScHoolboy Q - Druggys Wit Hoes Again (ft. Ab-Soul)

Here are the visuals for Schoolboy Q's Druggys Wit Hoes Again featuring Ab-Soul. The track is from his "Habits & Contradictions" album.

[Video] LowLine: An Underground Park In Manhattan's Lower East Side

Talk about a tremendous idea and project. Dan Barasch and James Ramsey want to transform the "Delancey Underground", a trolley terminal located in Manhattan's LES, that's been out of use since 1948 into the world's first underground park. From what I understand, they're going to use a new technology which would capture sunlight from the outside, channel that light through a fiber optic cable which would then "release" that light underground. This would allow for photosynthesis, which means that plants and trees would be able to grow and live. The idea has received a lot of praise and you can help them out.

They need 100,000$ to build a mini version of "LowLine Park" to demonstrate that this can actually work. And after a week on kickstarter they've already accumulated 64,000$ with 38 days to go.

Here's the video of the project by the creators themselves:

[Art] "Panic Room" by Tilt at The "Au Vieux Panier" Hotel

The "Au Vieux Panier" hotel located in Marseille, France commissioned french graffiti artist Tilt to paint one of their rooms. The hotel has five rooms which are redesigned by artists and graphic designers each year. This room is fittingly entitled "Panic Room". You can see a sneak peek of the five rooms here. This is incredibly dope and I'd be interested in knowing the price of a night in this ludicrous room.

[Video] Wes Anderson Directs Hyundai Commercials

Wes Anderson did a couple of commercials for the new 2012 Hyundai Azera. They're good, I actually enjoyed watching these ads. Will I ever buy a 2012 Hyundai Azera? No.

[Photo] Pinterest & Marketing

Yup, this sums it up perfectly.

[Photo of the Day] Untitled - Theo Cottle

Our photo of the day belongs to Theo Cottle who mostly takes pretty raw images of reality. This photograph was taken in Berlin, Germany as part of the "Berlin Is A Paradise" set he did for Vice.

[Music Video] Gotye - Easy Way Out

Gotye the guy who brougt the lovely and very sucessful video for 'Somebody That I Used to Know' is back at it with his new pretty awesome clip! Check it out!

[Music] 19 Skrillex Songs Played At The Same

Title is self-explanatory. This new 19 track mash up doesn't sound any different from a regular, single Skrillex song.

[Video] Tarantino - FROM BELOW

After giving us the Wes Anderson "FROM ABOVE" supercut, Kogonada now gives us the Quentin Tarantino "FROM BELOW" supercut. This classic Tarantino shot is without a doubt one of my favorites in Cinema.

[Video] The City of Samba

This tilt-shift video of the Carnaval Party in Rio De Janeiro is just unreal and definitely hypnotizing! Check it out!

[Music] Avicii - Levels In Reverse (George Monev Edit)

There's always an excuse to listen to Avicii's next-level catchy track Levels. George Monev had the extremely simple idea of reversing the strings in Levels. Turns out this remix is the best of them all, without a doubt. It stays true to the song while still giving the listener something new.

[Music] Rick Ross X Bruce Springsteen - Boss vs Boss

When I first read the title of this mixtape it made me chuckle. But this is a dope mixtape concept by Jonathan Lee. It's pretty good, sure there's some transition issues here and there but Lee doesn't just overlap one track over the other, he transitions parts from The Boss to The Bawse so they complement each other.

[Video] Cinezoïque - The Era of Cinema

Here's an interesting videos for cinephiles by Stefania Rota. It's an installation of 21 meters long showing a walk through of the history of cinema from 1903 to 2009. It's pretty fuckin' cool.

Interested in knowing all the movies used in the installation? Here's the list.

[Music Video] Josh Ritter - Love Is Making Its Way Back Home

Here's the music video for folk singer Josh Ritter's track Love Is Making Its Way Back Home which "was created with over 12,000 pieces of construction paper, shown as it was shot, with no effects added in post." Not bad.

[Photo of the Day] Baumschule by Gerco de Ruijter

I can't pronounce his name or the place either but the pictures are incredible. Gerco took aerial shots of a tree farms in the Netherlands (Baumschule) and the results are as weird as interesting! More here.

[Video] Phantom: Best of the 2012 All-Star Game

The NBA often film big games with a phantom camera that showcase some awesome highlights in beautiful high definition slow motion. So it comes to no surprise that the NBA busted out the Phantom for the 2012 All-Star. Here are the highlights of the game in slow-motion.

[Video] 5Boro Join, Or Die.

Enjoy this 25 minute skate video by Thrasher Magazine entitled "5Boro Join, Or Die".

[Music Video] Bon Iver - Towers

I'm not the biggest fan of the moody music of Bon Iver but this video... you just have to watch whether you like them or not. Beautiful images and cinematography!

[Music Video] Beirut - Vagabond

It's always a lovely morning when you're listening to some Beirut's trumpets! Check out the latest clip Sunset Television came up with for the excellent mellow track 'Vagabond'!
